1) Grants and Scholarships for Women with Disabilities:
The Ethel Louise Armstrong Foundation (ELA) provides grants to non-profit organizations and scholarship women with a physical disability who are pursuing graduate studies at a university in the United States. They are especially looking for women who are involved in the disability community in their local area. More information is on their website at http://www.ela.org

2) Scholarships for Students with Epilepsy
A new document, College Scholarships for Students with Epilepsy, has been added to the UCP site. You may review this document at http://www.ucp.org/document.cfm/5026.

3) Understanding College Students with Autism
This article is available from HEATH at: http://www.heath.gwu.edu/Templates/Newsletter/Issue6/Autism.htm

4) Study on College Students with Disabilities
The National Council on Disability (NCD) recently released this synthesis in anticipation of the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act (HEA). Students with disabilities, who now are estimated to represent nearly 10 percent of all college students, currently experience outcomes far inferior to those of their non-disabled peers, despite the fact that research shows that they are more likely to obtain positive professional employment outcomes after degree completion than their peers. The purpose of this paper is to provide background that might guide reauthorization of the HEA to better support students with disabilities to achieve equal postsecondary outcomes. The paper is available at http://www.ncd.gov/newsroom/publications/education.html
