1) Transition Times Newsletter
The Career and Transition Services newsletter is a publication designed to share information and strategies for transitioning students with disabilities to post-school life. The winter, 2004 issue "Career and Transition Services is available on line at http://www.fcps.edu/DSSSE/careertransition/crtnnews.htm .
2) Lifeworks Web Site
The National Institutes of Health, Office of Science Education introduces, "LifeWorks", an interactive web site featuring information on more than 100 careers in the health and medical sciences for middle to high school youth. The site can be found at

3) Virginia College Quest
VaCollegeQuest.org is a new website that offers information, resources, activities, profiles, and testimonials to help prepare and encourage middle and high school students with disabilities for transition to college. Although some of the information is specific to programs and activities within the state of Virginia, a good deal applies to any student with a disability looking beyond high school. 4) Summer Pre-College Programs for Students with Disabilities
The George Washington University HEATH Resource Center researches summer campus programs for students with disabilities annually. A list of resources has been compiled for students with disabilities who are interested in exploring ways to prepare for college and enhance college performance. 5) Youth with Developmental Disabilities and the Juvenile Justice System
The Developmental Disabilities Leadership Forum offers courses, discussion groups, articles, and conferences/events to anyone interested in developmental disabilities. They also offer an on line journal; the focus of the spring journal is youth with developmental disabilities and the juvenile justice system.
