1) Rebuilding Together-
A national program helps local communities provide emergency and major rehabilitation to homes of disabled or low-income people. Each local groups set their own goals to organize work that meet their goals. 2) Transition link
is an on-line community for sharing ideas, strategies, resources, and information concerning the transition to life after high school for adolescents with disabilities. This can become a valuable resource for teachers, family members, transition personnel, students, and anyone else concerned with this important area. http://www.transitionlink.com/index.php
3) NCWD (National Collaborative on Workforce and Disability)
Youth-Youth and Family: Preparatory Experiences, A new resource on their web page. It has great information on preparing for the world of work and transition. Check this out when you have some time. 4) One Stop Career Centers -
One stop centers may be an excel lent resource for you as you start your job search. There are many resources available to assist you.
