1) With Open Arms - Future Financial Planning Guide -
Embracing a Bright Financial Future for you and Your Child with Disabilities and Other Needs. This resource guide was produced by Easter Seals and the National Endowment for Financial Education to assist families to incorporate planning for adult needs while addressing the childës and family needs in the present. Topics covered include; estate planning, wills, trusts, insurance, and government benefits. It also helps parents to visualize what may be needed in adult life fore their child. This is a large file but is valuable for families.

2) You Can Ride - A guide to riding public transportation for non-readers -
A picture reference guide on how to use public transportation for people with disabilities who can't read. 3) Accessible travelers data-base-
Maintained by Easter Seal Project Action as a National Data-Base for information on accessible transportation in the state and city of your choice. There are many cities and states with contact information and accessible transportation options. http://www.projectaction.org/paweb/index.htm

4) Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA)
Help Line provides free health insurance education, assistance, and advocacy for all Washington State residents, including the disabled, in hundreds of communities statewide. Volunteers and staff assist consumers with choices and problems involving private health insurance as well as many government programs (Medicare, Medicaid, Basic Health, Children's Health Insurance Program, and the Washington State Health Insurance Pool. They assist people by phone, in person, and through group presentations. Call 1-800-562-6900, for more information or assistance.

5) SSI Spotlights - help in understanding SSI regulations
SSI Spot Lights are an in depth look at some of the program rules from the booklet "Understanding Social Security Income." Find topics about eligibility, what counts as resources and income, reporting earnings when working, medical care, and other topics. If you need information about your case or circumstances contact your local Social Security office.
